First, a quick word to thank everyone for their comments on my last post. I know I haven’t responded to most of you, and that’s prety rude and all, but I will. When I feel up to it. I’m starting to heal. I’m also trying to keep quite busy, which probably explains this post entirely.
The other day, I had what can only be described as an impulse to organize a fabric swap. A text fabric swap, to be more specific. There are so many amazing text prints available right now:
I just really felt like I had to have an assortment of text fabric of my own. And since I need more stuff to keep me busy, I figured I’d organize a Text Fat Quarter Swap, so that other people could get in on the texty action.
The Flickr group for the swap is here, but here is the basic idea of how the swap will work. More details are on Flickr.
1. This is a centralized swap, meaning everyone will send their fabric to me, and I’ll sort, distribute, and mail back to the swappers.
2. Swappers have until February 15th to mail their packages to me
3. Mailing will be done by Flat Rate Envelope or Box only, and I’m requesting PayPal funds to make the shipping easier (international swappers are welcome, check out the group for details on how we can handle that).
4. You can send in as many FQ’s as you like. You’ll get the same number back that you sent in!
I hope you’ll stop by and consider participating. I think this swap is going to be lots of fun! I’ve already been scouring the internet for the best text prints!
